When you are a gamer, having the best sound is key to winning the next match, especially in a hardcore FPS like Call of Duty. The sound helps you determine where those footsteps are coming from or maybe the gunshots that you hear while the enemies Counter-UAV is up. Turtle Beach has announced its official line of Call of Duty Black Ops 2 headsets for the perfect gameplay. The sets start in the lower end with earbuds and work their way up from the Kilo, to the X-Ray, to the Sierra, and finally to the Tango.
Black Ops Earbuds
I take it that these earbuds aren't meant for gameplay. The earbuds are very comfortable and will be able to fit inside of the jack on your iPod or cell phone or PSP. The earbuds are noise-cancelling, which is a great feature to have and will appeal to everyday people.
These headsets are the ones that are meant for the actual gamer. The earpads are made of actual leather, which is comfy, and will help people out after a long gaming session. The X-Ray headset uses rechargable batteries, which may be a hassle after the batteries die out, but even the Xbox controller uses batteries, so it looks like same-old to me. The higher-end headsets like the Sierra and Tango feature sound settings made by Treyarch to enhance gameplay. The sound settings can be made where you can hear only the feet or maybe the explosions in the game, which helps if you have a certain way you play. All of the headsets include a microphone for talking to teammates and such.
The Black Ops 2 headsets are very stylish and sound great, and I expect them to enhance anyone's gameplay experience.
