FIFA 13 came out last week and boasted great sales all around. About 1.23 million copies were sold in the UK in the first 48 hours of release, which helpemd to make FIFA the second videogame franchise ever to sell more than 1 million units in the U.K. within one day.
According to EA, FIFA 13 is still selling many copies all around with over 4.5 million copies sold across all platforms worldwide in the past five days, making it the biggest videogame launch of 2012 thus far. Though it's the biggest videogame launch, it has taken its place as the biggest sports videogame launch of all time. I believe that this November, though, Black Ops 2 will take its place, and it will become the biggest videogame launch of 2012, and maybe even of history if the franchise can continue its sales rampage.
